South Downs mini bikepacking trip (Friday pm/evening and Saturday am)

A mini bikepacking adventure to the South Downs - a Gravel/XC ride with an overnight stay. Approx Mod equivalent pace

Friday 17 April - Depart Milford 16.00. Pick up Downs Link trail at Bramley, flat ride to Steyning, then sharp climb to Truleigh Hill. Overnight stay and dinner/beer at YHA Truleigh Hill (£20pp for accom in 6-bed room booked for VCGH. Pack clothes for the evening. Lockable bike shed).

Saturday 18 April - Truleigh Hill to Milford. Breakfast at the YHA. Coffee at Amberley Tea Rooms or Cadence Cafe. The route is 40km of hilly trails going West along the South Downs Way, dropping down at Graffham. From there it is 35km of rolling trails and lanes back North to Milford.
The route suits a gravel bike or XC MTB bike. I will finesse the route nearer the time. Any questions, please WhatsApp me.
